Rigger/Class A Driver (Full - Time)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform safe operations of a tractor-trailer truck & various equipment (forklift/pallet jack)
  • Responsibly inspect truck & equipment (pre/post trip) and maintain driver logs
  • Must be able to handle heavy freight, either on pallets or in wheeled carts
  • Driver must be able to operate landing gear, release fifth wheel jaws, and perform normal rigging duties while adhering to all safety regulations
  • Using either control mechanisms or direct activity - operate machines or processes (hand or power tools, hydraulic tools or precision measuring tools and equipment)


Job Requirements: 

  • Must possess current Class A CDL
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment and DOT physical exams as well as drug screen
  • Should have at least six (6) months of Class A driving experience
  • No more than 3 moving violations in a 5 yr period
  • No more than 2 DOT recordable accidents in a 5 yr period

Crane Operator (Full - Time)

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate large hydraulic cranes (60 - 300 ton) as well as boom trucks (22 - 45 ton)
  • Understand and comply with all company safety policies, training and procedures
  • Read and understand plans, specifications, operators’ manuals, safety manuals, rigging tables and load capacity charts. Visualize two dimensional drawings in three dimensions
  • Fill out OSHA approved Mobile Crane Periodic Safety Inspection Record daily and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions
  • Be responsible for your own safety as well as those working in the area

 

Job Requirements: 

  • NCCCO or Comparable Crane Operators Certification (Valid, In Good Standing)
  • Must possess current Class A CDL 
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment and DOT physical exams as well as drug screen
  • Should have at least six (6) months of Class A driving experience

Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Full - Time)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as a "troubleshooter" in determining mechanical and electrical defects
  • Maintain and repair all types of heavy equipment including cranes, trucks, trailers, forklifts and other heavy construction equipment
  • Occasionally respond to road calls by use of service truck as necessary
  • Ensure fleet equipment is compliant and repaired according to DOT regulations
  • Repair and replace axle components, including steering, brake, and drive systems
  • Maintain or repair the typical vehicle systems such as brakes, suspension, air, and hydraulic systems
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with management concerning repair status. Report any problems or previously unseen damage or repairs immediately
  • Understand and comply with all company safety policies, training and procedures


Job Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment and DOT physical exams as well as drug screen
  • Ability to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions
  • Ability to follow established procedures, practices, read and comprehend instructions
